Jawbreaker candy is bad for your teeth!

Researchers in The Netherlands Test surveyed 300 children between 10 to 12 years old. Two thirds reported eating Jawbreakers (Boys 73% and Girls 60%).15 minutes was the average time that a child kept the Jawbreaker in their mouth. Jawbreaker contains citric acid that will dissolve enamel from teeth. Check with your children and see if they are sucking on Jawbreakers! Their teeth are exposed to dangerously low pH levels the longer they suck on the candy.

Also, biting or chewing them can chip or crack teeth!
