Patient Education
To further reduce our patient′s apprehensions, we use the Casey Interactive Patient Education System. This allows our doctors and staff to show our patients what each dental procedure will entail. This is shown on a TV monitor in each treatment room utilizing motion picture DVD technology.
Through a simple menu program, the system offers 100 two–to four–minute presentations. It educates the patient on diagnosis, procedures and alternatives for all areas of dentistry. Through simple narrative and understandable images, the system addresses issues on crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, periodontal disease, and cosmetic procedures.
In our reception area the patient′s education experience is further enhanced using the Smile Channel Just by watching television, the Smile Channel allows patients to receive the most advanced and up–to–date information in dentistry. By combining images and informative presentations available through this program, we can help our patients understand a number of dental problems, as well as, the potential solutions to transform ordinary smiles into unforgettable smiles.
We believe that education is one of the most crucial elements in the journey to a healthy and long lasting smile.
